Carlos Meija - Former Managing Partner of Options Group in New York

Hedge fund executive search consultant Carlos Mejia served as a Managing Partner at Options Group for more than 18 years. In this role, he hired and trained new consultants, many of whom were later promoted to executive positions in the company. He also led the company’s US Hedge Fund Practice and maintained many of the company’s largest accounts. Carlos Mejia developed the company’s candidate management system and QuantMatch, its customer relations software system.

An active member of his community, Mr. Mejia serves as the chairman of the Funding Committee of the North American Family Institute (NAFI), a nonprofit agency that provides community-based care for young people and adults with mental health issues or behavioral issues. Formerly a youth counselor and shift supervisor for the organization, he was recognized for his commitment to NAFI’s Normative Community Approach, which emphasized the ability of all people to achieve positive change.

Additionally, Mr. Mejia has participated in efforts to improve relationships between local young people and law enforcement, serving as a member of the leadership team of the Youth Police Initiative (YPI), a program of NAFI.
